A standout shortstop at Marquette High School, Coach Roth earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2005 before playing in the Mon-Clair League and spending a season in the Washington Nationals organization with the GCL Nationals. With over 15 years of coaching experience across all age levels and multiple St. Louis–area clubs, he brings deep baseball knowledge, strong leadership, and a passion for player development to MO Dawgs Baseball.
Coach John Curd brings over 30 years of playing and coaching experience to MO Dawgs Baseball, working with athletes from youth through college levels. A former two-way player, he competed as both a pitcher and infielder, playing high school baseball before continuing his career at Washington University in St. Louis, where he later joined the coaching staff as a pitching coach.
Coach Curd is driven by a deep passion for player development and is especially known for his expertise in infield defense. His high-energy, all-encompassing approach challenges athletes to grow both physically and mentally—building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a competitive mindset that translates on and off the field.
Coach Roger Meyer brings passion, energy, and a deep love for the game of baseball to the MO Dawgs program. His commitment goes beyond wins and losses—he is dedicated to teaching the game the right way and helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
As part of the MO Dawgs coaching staff, Coach Meyer focuses on building strong fundamentals, sharpening baseball IQ, and reinforcing proper mechanics through repetition and intentional instruction. He believes confidence is built through preparation, accountability, and consistent effort.
