The MO Dawgs 9U Black team is a tournament-based baseball team focused on player development, competitive growth, and building confidence on and off the field. This team competes in local and regional tournaments while emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and a strong baseball foundation.
9U Black Coach
Coach Clukies is a lifelong student of the game, having grown up immersed in baseball as both a player and now a coach. A St. Louis native, he played competitive baseball through college, where he learned the importance of preparation, discipline, and teamwork. Those experiences shape his coaching style today as he works to teach the game in a way that is encouraging, age-appropriate, and motivating for young athletes.
Family drives everything Coach Clukies does. He and his wife, Lindsay, are raising their three sons—Brady, Blake, and Bo—and he strongly believes youth sports are a powerful tool for developing confidence, resilience, and work ethic. On the field, he blends skill development with competition, emphasizing fundamentals, effort, and accountability while building a positive team culture. Coach Clukies challenges players to push themselves, support one another, and learn through both wins and adversity, with the ultimate goal of helping each athlete grow and develop a lifelong love for baseball.
9U Black Coach
Coach Morgan grew up in St. Louis and brings a lifelong love of baseball to the field. His playing experience through high school helped shape his understanding of the game and instilled the values of discipline, preparation, and teamwork. Today, those lessons translate into a coaching style centered on strong fundamentals, consistent effort, and personal responsibility from every athlete.
Off the field, Coach Morgan is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Amanda, are raising their three children—Maria, Francesca, and Vinny—and he believes youth sports are essential for building confidence, character, and resilience in young athletes. He strives to create an environment that blends skill development with healthy competition, encouraging players to push themselves, support their teammates, and develop a genuine passion for the game. Coach Morgan believes that a strong attitude and relentless effort set the foundation for success.
